Autumn in the Philippines

Ian and I took our photos in front of College of Mass Communication, UP Diliman. We were amazed with the dried leaves...

I make them mad

Our organization conducted a Campus Journalism Workshop in Culiat High school in Quezon City. We taught basic journalism principles to third and fourth year high school students and this was what one female student gave me:

The beauty that is light

I am a member of two organizations in UP Diliman: UP Journalism Club (UPJC) and UP Advertising Core (UP AdCore). I must admit that I am only active in UPJC and always MIA in UP AdCore activities.

Anyway, here's a photo by a very good friend of mine, Jean Natividad, of our props during the lantern parade forming the acronym of our beloved org. They're light saber thingies with thumbs up head.

Manila Pride March 2009

My gender and sexuality class went to the Manila Pride March 2009 last December. I asked Ian to come with me.

It was a visual spectacular as I've seen for the first time members of the LGBT Community gather to celebrate their pride.
My favorite group was the Lesbians Advocates of the Philippines. Their theme for that event was KaTIBOnera.

There were also several groups representing the gay community. Many were cross-dressed. This was my favorite among my shots.

Of course, not everyone who went there were for the event. A group of Christian believers were protesting at the other side of the street.

The best thing about Avatar: 3D and the person I watched it with

I watched Avatar with Ian (the other half of yat) at the SM North EDSA IMAX Theater last December

The best show television could offer: Friends

Friends for me is the best tv series ever aired in human history.
The stellar cast, the witty punchlines, and the funny antics are what made this show unparalleled.
I have an original VCD copy of Season One but I intend to buy the complete ten seasons on DVD.

The best thing about high school: Friends

My high school barkada, Party Animals, had our reunion last month/year for our Christmas Party.
I was the last to arrive at Patrick's house (the one behind the lens) and as I entered the living area, they said, "We're going to Tagaytay. We want Starbucks."
In this photo (from left to right): Cy (Patrick's girlfriend), Patty, Jeng, Jellyn (Behind Jeng, sitting) Mara, Me, Alexis, Leandro, Kim, and Ohnel (Kim's boyfriend)

My second dish: spaghetti

This was the second real dish I cooked. My parents allowed me to try my luck cooking spaghetti for New Year's eve.
They said it was good, only it did not sui my mom's taste buds.

My very first dish: Sauteed Pechay w/ fried tofu

This was the very first real dish that i cooked (not including the fried and instant ones).
It is sautéed pechay with fried tofu
